Silent Hill showcase stream announced for later this week, and it’ll almost cert…
Hello. Konami has announced that it’s holding a Silent Hill transmission stream later this week, and it’ll offer you a look at Silent Hill f, a game which reminded us all that sometimes you can just tell capital letters to go do one.
While we’ve had some Silent Hill stuff recently, like the very good Silent Hill 2 Remake thanks to collabs between Konami and Bloober Team, we’ve not had a mainline entry in the series for a good while. That’s the spooky void f will be filling.
Anyway, this Silent Hill transmission will be taking place on March 13 at 10PM GMT, which is 3PM PDT, 6PM ET and 6PM ET. We’ll add the link to the livestream to this story as soon as we notice it’s live, but your best bet’s that it’ll be viewable via the official Silent Hill YouTube channel.
As for what you’ll see, Konami wrote: “This Transmission will uncover SILENT HILL f”, while the game’s director Al Yang added: “Excited to finally be able to share what we’ve been cooking.”
In case you need a refresher, f was originally announced during an SH transmission back in 2022, alongside that aforementioned SH2 remake from Bloober. Neobards Entertainment is the developer, with the story being written by Ryukishi07, author of the When They Cry visual novel series.
Our Silent Hill expert Kelsey said of that original Silent Hill f teaser, which featured a spooky flower hat, that the game looked “rather fascinating and stylised”, so I’d defo keep an eye on this showcase of it’s not already in your plans, assuming you like things that scare your pants off.
