Make sure the old battery is THE problem. Try the new battery before you start to dismantle the old one.

The battery should be charged in the temperature range of 0～45℃, away from high temperature (above 60℃) and low temperature (-20℃) environment. Otherwise, it may cause some damage to the battery, and you may find the battery’s power supply time will not be as long as usual.
